Assaya is operated by Rockfirepro Ltd (United Kingdom). This page explains how to delete your Assaya account, what is removed, and what is kept. You can do it yourself in the app in under a minute, or ask us to do it for you.
This is immediate and needs nothing from us.
Your sign-in is removed straight away, on every device. It cannot be undone.
Use this if you no longer have the app, can't sign in, or would simply rather we did it.
Email hello@assaya-app.co.uk with the subject Account deletion request.
Send it from the email address on the account where you can, so we can identify you without asking for anything further. If you can't, tell us the address the account uses and the company you worked for, and we will verify another way.
We action requests as quickly as we can and, in any event, within 30 days, as required by UK GDPR. We will confirm by email when it is done. You can also reach us at info@rockfirepro.co.uk.
This happens immediately and is not recoverable. If you need access again afterwards, your company administrator has to invite you as a new user.
The fire-stopping records, photographs and drawings you captured stay with the company you captured them for.
They are not personal data about you — they are that building's safety evidence, and the golden thread they belong to has to outlive any individual's employment. Your employer is the controller of those records. Deleting your account removes you from Assaya; it does not erase a building's fire-stopping record.
For the same reason, entries in the audit trail showing that a record was created or amended are preserved. That trail is the thing that makes the evidence worth anything, and it cannot be selectively rewritten without destroying its value.
If you believe a specific record contains personal information that should not be there, email us and we will look at it individually.
The app will stop you, on purpose. A company account cannot be left with no one able to administer it, or its records become unreachable for everyone.
Make a colleague an administrator first — admin console → Team — then delete your account. If you are the only person left in the company entirely, see the next section instead.
The steps above delete one person's sign-in. To close an entire company account and everything in it, an administrator should email hello@assaya-app.co.uk.
Before you do, export everything: admin console → System → Download full backup. Your records are always yours to take.
Two different things can happen, and they are not the same:
This mirrors our Privacy Policy and the deletion notice inside the app, which is the version registered with Google Play. If you ever find the two disagreeing, the app one governs — and please tell us so we can fix it.
Solo mode keeps everything on your device and never creates an account on our servers — so there is nothing for us to delete, and no Delete my account… button appears. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes the data.
Export anything you want to keep before you do that, because we do not hold a copy.
