We never ration the slots.
The danger with paying per seat is the tally: licences get counted, then rationed, and the lad in his first week records nothing because nobody bought him a seat yet. So we do not gate it. Put anyone on the tools the moment you need them and they record from minute one — nobody has to approve it, and nobody on site is ever locked out of recording their own work. The slot is added to your account and billed from the day it starts. It runs the other way too: when a job finishes, tell us and your slot count comes down from your next billing date.
A slot is any account that logs in and does work — operative, surveyor or admin, all the same price. Client observers are free and never counted: the main contractor, the building owner, building control and your fire engineer open a link, hold no login and cost nothing. Above 40 slots the rate is still £27. No drawing credits, no storage tiers, no per-report, per-project or per-pin fee — team size sets the price and nothing else. Rockfirepro Ltd is not currently VAT registered, so the figures on this page are the full amount you pay and no VAT is charged. We have applied to register; once we are, VAT at the prevailing rate is added to invoices and we will tell you before that happens. Annual totals are rounded to the nearest pound.

Founder terms — £25 a slot (1–9) or £21 a slot (10 and up), for the first 25 firms only. It is the rate that is locked, not the bill: grow from 5 slots to 20 and the founder rate applies to all 20. Held for life. If you leave, we hold the rate for twelve months of non-membership — the same twelve months we hold your records — and after that it lapses. Twenty-five is a real, counted, closing number.
The Assaya app's solo mode is genuinely free — no account, no server, records held on your own device. There is no free team plan: team workspaces and the console need a subscription.

So here is the obvious question, answered head-on: Rockfirepro's contracting business does not oversee, monitor, or access your work, your jobs, your clients or your records. Ever. The trade: run your live fire-stopping, fire-door and damper work on it, give us thirty honest minutes a month, and a case study when we’ve earned it. In return — your first year at half price, £16 a slot, then the founder rate of £25 a slot held for life. Design-partner places come out of the twenty-five.
